Well its been a bit rough lately personally but this weekend has been better and I have tables at 2 different craft fayres! So today I have been working on making new stock and worrying whether I will actually start selling anything along with registering for tax and contemplating opening an ebay shop.
I have the hang of the networking I think and have over 100 likes on my facebook page at last. Thanks to many people on different groups on facebook ( craft a thon,  hike the likes, Craftymakers, send in the troops) to name but a few. Now to break the back of this and work out why I am not selling yet. Suggestions varying from photos, pricing and generally just I think a saturation of products really so I must try and work out what my problem is.

Birthday!

Today is my fortieth birthday and as such I haven't made anything today lol! So I just thought I would let you all know :-D

I think I will be making a large stock of earrings this week ready to find a craft fair or maybe even a Christmas fair to do.

Right I think I am getting the hang of this networking lark, have opened a store on the crafters boutique so will see how that goes have uploaded some more photos and got another like for my page on facebook phew what a day! Thats not including the bread and cakes I have been making to take with us on holiday tomorrow, soooo excited as have not had a holiday this year and its my birthday at the end of the week. The big 4 0 :( !

I have been looking at the quality of my photography and I know it needs to be improved but I also would like to sell some things as christmas is looming and need to buy presents lol! Would like to make some simple tree and bauble earrings and decorations so I think I will be looking at that soon too.

Sorry Sorry Sorry

I really must apologise for being so lax and not posting anything for a while. It was a busy time trying to find a house to buy which hasn't been going well :(  Then theres my very first custom order which I managed to get posted on Monday so waiting to hear from my customer if its exactly what she wanted. Very difficult to do from a distance as she is from Canada! I have found since then I have been getting more views in my shop and my facebook page has 30 likes now! I confess I find that quite slow not sure what I am doing wrong really I try to post something every day but as this is not my main source of income its difficult. In between work and keeping the home fires burning you have to make things photograph them network across all the available forums and trying to set up my website too. There really isn't enough hours in the day at the moment. I have been suffering a bit with a cold too :(.

Tonight is strictly night so my official time out and a friend is coming over too. Next week I am on holiday so tomorrow hopefully I can get some stuff made and or photographed depending on time really.

Its been a busy week!

I have been viewing houses all week so have had no time for blogging :'( on a brighter note I was approached about a custom set of 10 wine glass charms for her wedding in canada so the supplies I didn't already have have been ordered and I hope to despatch at the weekend.
I think then I need to concentrate on making enough stock to do a craft fair soon and make presents for xmas.
